Uptime is very important.You don’t want to upset your site visitors by showing “503 service temporarily unavailable” or some other error.

Don’t compromise with your site uptime, if you do, you will be in a huge loss. You might lose lots of regular visitors because of downtime.

Make sure web-hosting gives maximum uptime. No web-hosting service provider is perfect. There will be a time when your site will be down for some moment during very heavy server load and traffic, but that doesn’t means your site should be down for more than a day. Make sure, webhosting is capable of taking care of such downtimes.

Web-space

How much web-space do you need?

That depends on your website, and its your personal choice !

If you have some heavy image based website or some video based website (hint:Youtube), you will need more web-space. For normal article based website you don’t need lots of web-space.

Never Trust hosts giving Unlimited Web-space. They are liars !!
Its very possible that’s its not unlimited and you might regret that you purchased that webhosting.

This is very important. Make sure web-hosting is giving you enough bandwidth. Websites with heavy number of visitors needs to be optimized for bandwidth and speed.

Again, Dont trust Webhost giving unlimited bandwidth with complete uptime. Such web-hosting providers are lairs and just want you to trick into purchasing their service.

Good Technical support

Make sure that web-hosting service is not provided by kids. They should know their work and they should be able to support you in each and every possible way..

Its very essential web-hosting with good customer support. In the time of urgency(like server is down), they must be able to handle the situation.

Backup

You will need regular backup of your site, time to time.

Make sure, your webhosting have some kind of backup. You might need it.

There are lots of web-host providing good back facility. Good backup system will assure your data safety and you can work without any hassle.

Normally all web-hosts provide backup.

Latest Features and capabilities

Sometimes, you need latest stuffs like latest version of PHP, MySql and etc etc.

Its good to check if web-host meets your requirement. Now almost the the scripts and application needs latest updates.

For example. Some Advanced feature of WordPress requires PHP5 . If you web-host, doesn’t supports PHP5, you wont be able to take the advantage of that feature..

I know its bad to use friends but google is an exception.

Try combinations

Try combining 2 words and search for it. if you cant get cooking.com, try for MrCook.com or cookingbox and etc etc.

Combining the words help in getting a quality domain name. You can use “-” and numbers if you want.(however i dont like them).

There are lots words use can use for combination like cat, hat, house,etc.

This is the best way to get a quality domain name.

Grab Your Dictionary

Dictionary can be a very powerful tool in Domain Search.

Search for the synonyms of your niche, if you cant get your niche as your domain name.

And if you still can’t find synonym, look for the same word in some other language. There are more than 10000 languages, If you are lucky enough, you will get your meaningful domain name.

Dot NET or ORG are not so bad

Stop Ignoring .net and .org domains !

They are not so bad !

If you don’t find any good domain you can go for .net or .org. Its totally fine to have them. They Perform equally like dot com.

However, Lots of people don’t like dot net or dot org.

Poor them ! They are ignored kids!

Give them love ! They are equally as best as dot com .

Invent a new Name

if you can’t find a name, make your own name.

There are lots of big companies invented their own unique names like Google, yahoo, squidoo, orkut etc etc

You can make a brand of any new name. Invent a new word. You need to be creative for that. Once you have the name you can easily make the brand out of it.

Check expired domains

If you cant find available domain, search for expired domains. There are lots of good domain which get expired as the owner doesn’t cares enough to renew it.

you can take advantage of that.

Look for the expired domain, you might get lucky to find a really good name. Again, Use google for Searching expired domain and find that from where you can buy one.

Look in Reseller’s godown

This is the last thing to do, if you dont find any good name. Check for a domain reseller.

You might have to pay little extra for that, but you will find your dream name.

As all the good domains are taken, Domain resellers like to play monopoly. so be prepared to pay higher price if you are getting it by domain reseller.

It doesn’t matter what is your domain name. Its what you do with it

So if your site content sucks, domain name is not gonna help you.

However you shouldn’t forget that if nobody reads that content, its useless.

Promoting too is equally responsible for the success of a website.

There are 2 things you required for a successful site:

• Good promotion of that content

What is good content?

Good content is good information. Information can be in any form.News, Education information, Entertainment, debate or others. They all fall in good content. There is no specific definition for it.

Understanding the content is based on many points.

Originality and uniqueness, thats all matters in getting the great content. If you have something original and unique, you can say your content is good.

Content and marketing are Inter-related.

Keep you Logo simple and sexy. As i said before you don’t need to have a lots of Design in your logo. Keep it simple but Professional. With lots of design and colour your logo will look dull. Make sure you don’t use more than 3-4 colours in logo. Even if you see the logo of Google, you will see that they are using only 4 colour but still it gives a feeling like its using more than 4 colours.

Just keep it simple and normal, No need to make font cursive unnecessarily.

Writer’s block is the inability to come up with something to write about, or a lack of enthusiasm for doing so. Every writer gets this problem at least once in his/her life. At that moment no matter what happens, the writer should never get negative. Getting negative will not help him in getting over the block. Here are some tips for getting new ideas for article.

1. TAKE A BREAK

Take a break from writing. Sleep, watch TV, play some games, talk to people, go out for a walk, listen to music etc etc.

These things will help you in refreshing your brain. Completely disconnect yourself from writing and relax your brain and body. It is very important to take rest.

You just can’t work like a ROBOT. So just chill and relax, refresh your brain and get back to work !

DON’T GIVE UP! DON’T STOP WRITING ! Even if you are unable to write article, just start writing anything. After some writing, you might come up with a very good new article in your mind.

However do take break as written in the above point.

Sometimes when i don’t get any idea, i just write random words and sentences about my topic and work.

No matter what happens stick to it. Make a firm determination that you are going to write a quality article in an hour or some certain period.

3. SEARCH FOR THE TITLE

Try to create the title of the article rather than the content. This is very simple, all you have to do is look for a title.

Just think what different kind of lists you could make. “How to” and List articles are normally easy to make.

Once you have  the title, you will just need to Research on it. This is the most common method among some of the most popular article writers.

4. SEE ARTICLES EVERYWHERE

Try to make articles out of every object, person or conversation. If you master this art, you will never run out of ideas for an article.

For example, there is a cellphone on your table. Now try to make as many articles about cellphone. As i said list articles are easy to write, so first look for a list. Write anything like 10 ways to kill a bird using phone, how to use a phone to get a job, 7 unusual uses of cellphone , etc etc

This makes your job easier. You could easily come up with few articles in few minutes.

5. BRAIN STORMING

Brain storming is a group problem-solving technique in which group members spontaneously share ideas and solutions. This can be a very effective way to getting ideas for article.

Just discuss with your friend or anyone who got knowledge about your topic. If somehow, there is no one available for a group session, you can have a Individual brainstorming session alone by yourself.

After a good brainstorming session, you will get more ideas and thoughts about your work.

6. MAKE WRITING FUN

You wont be able to write articles if you don’t want to or if you find it boring. So Make your work fun. Bring creativity in your articles.

Enjoying your work is very important or else you might get some unnecessary stress over your work.Try to learn and master the art of writing article rather than concentrating on money.
People who give their best at work are really interested in working. It gives them satisfaction and fulfillment.They get better at their work because they genuinely want to learn and master it.
